So I began restoring motocross bikes (and a few road bikes too) around 2010, just as a hobby to begin with, doing practically everything myself and with the help of a few suppliers I found.

I started with a 1990 Kawasaki KX80 that I picked up for £150. I spent way too much on it and even though it was absolutely mint, I sold for a huge loss (the wrong bike I guess!)

I then bought a few more bikes and this time sold for profit, finding difficult parts and trade suppliers on a semi-professional basis. I picked up what was cheap at the time and turned them into first class race ready bikes and in the process began to really enjoy what I did.
